Stepping through the pine trees to find this surreal and eerie landscape was like stepping out the back of an old wardrobe... An old quarry, a deserted beach and deep water; beautiful and dangerous.
The title comes from a creepy 1970s Public Information Film about the dangers of swimming in old gravel pits.
